What you actually get
A brick-built Yoshi in the rarer light-blue colour, a chunky little motorbike he actually sits on, the Mario Kart item pack and a display stand. Released in 2025 and rated 7+, the finished model is palm-sized - about 9 centimetres long - and works both as a shelf piece and as a power-up for an existing course.
How it plays
On its own it is a quick, satisfying build with a strong character at the end of it. Paired with an interactive figure from a starter course, it becomes part of the game: riding Yoshi is worth digital coins, and the items give course builders new ways to be unfair to each other. The stand is a nice touch for the days it is a collectible rather than a toy.
Worth knowing first
There is no electronic figure in this box - the interactivity only exists if a starter course Mario, Luigi or Peach visits. At 133 pieces the build is an hour, not an afternoon, so treat it as an add-on or a small gift rather than a main present.
Verdict
The most character for the least money in the Mario Kart wave. It belongs next to the Adventures with Mario Starter Course 71360 that unlocks its tricks, and if the garage needs a villain, the Bowser’s Muscle Car 71431 gives Yoshi something to outrun.
