Worth knowing first

It is smaller in person than product photos suggest - closer to a large mug than a real bonsai. The two crowns cannot be displayed at once, so the spare set of branches goes back in the box. And the trunk is fixed: unlike a real bonsai, there is no shaping to do once it is built.
